On Tuesday, 11 November 2025, Giulia, Ina and Amir hosted our GenEvo seminar with Prof Daniel Kronauer from The Rockefeller University, New York. He studies how insect societies evolve and function at the level of genes, brains, and behavior. Ants are his main study organisms, especially the clonal raider ant.
It was a pleasure having him visit us in Mainz!
