Transferable Skills
Training to support in typical PhD tasks
GenEvo offers a wide range of high-quality lectures and workshops on Transferable Skills in collaboration with the Advanced Training Programmes of the International PhD Programme and the SFB 1361. These lectures and courses support the PhD students in mastering tasks, necessary for successful PhD candidates, like documenting, presenting and publishing results. Courses on topics relevant for all PhD students are compulsory (*), but a much broader range of topics is offered, e.g. time and project management, Adobe Illustrator, or conflict management courses. Additional courses can be chosen depending on the PhD students' needs.
In addition, all PhD students can take part in courses offered by JGU’s General Postgraduate Programme.
